I often hear people describe their dream of having a place in the foothills. They want a cabin that feels remote but has access to amenities – the best of both worlds. I hear things like: a place that's private but still close to downtown Evergreen. A place that feels like it's on top of the world, but is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and Evergreen Lake. A place where I can sneak out before the world wakes up and walk around the lake, just me and the birds and maybe a few elk. A place where you can have a deck that allows you to have a front-row seat to the downtown festivities without being in the traffic and chaos. A place oozing with charm, you know the spots – where you instantly feel the stress melt away and feel cozy and calm. A place soaked in sunshine so you almost never need to turn on a light. A place with great spaces for entertaining – a large living room and a fantastic deck. And when it's time to turn in at night, a peaceful bedroom with another room available for a family member or guest, or even those work from home days. Since cozy is important, we need a place with a fireplace for chilly nights and a place with a lot of windows to watch the snow fall. A place with some extra storage for mountain toys and maybe even a small garden area that’s just big enough to get your hands dirty, but won’t take up your weekends to maintain. A place where you can view nature, the trees, listen to the birds, see animals and stargaze at night. Wish granted; we found your house, 28134 Kinnikinick Road in Evergreen…..trust us, it looks JUST like the one in your dreams.
